'Zebra Stripe' Pattern
'Zebra Stripe' is an hand-painted abstract animal print defined by its fluid, variegated stripe. It was developed from a series of watercolor studies exploring the striations and structure of zebra succulents.
The organic markings of the succulents translated naturally into a pattern full of movement. The resulting pattern rests between abstraction and reference. The design retains the irregularity of the plant and the looseness the hand, creating an effect that is both graphic and flowing.
Each Venable Moore pattern begins with a hand-painted, hand-dyed, or hand-draw original artwork and is sustainably produced to order in the United States. Fabrics are printed on natural fibers using low-waste processes and eco-friendly inks, while wallpapers are produced on FSC-certified paper using non-toxic inks.
This design is available as wallpaper and 100% European linen fabric by the yard in four colorways. The standard grounds are suitable for residential and low-traffic environments. Alternate and performance grounds are available to the trade for high-use applications.
