'Frizzante' Pattern
‘Frizzante’ originated as a set of vibrant and dynamic paintings on silk. Each was created by first defining the circular shapes with resist on the fabric, then painting around them. These pieces buzz with movement and call to mind the dancing bubbles of a sparkling beverage.
The resulting design feels dynamic and layered, with areas of softness and intensity that shift throughout. Up close, it is full of movement and subtle variation; from a distance, it can read as a tonal layer.
Each Venable Moore pattern begins with a hand-painted, hand-dyed, or hand-draw original artwork and is sustainably produced to order in the United States. Fabrics are printed on natural fibers using low-waste processes and eco-friendly inks, while wallpapers are produced on FSC-certified paper using non-toxic inks.
This design is available as wallpaper and 100% European linen fabric by the yard in four colorways. The standard grounds are suitable for residential and low-traffic environments. Alternate and performance grounds are available to the trade for high-use applications.
