'Staccato Decolorato' Shibori
‘Staccato Decolorato’ Shibori was created using Venable Moore’s specially developed Arashi Shibori method. The initial studies for this pattern were made by using a process that removes color from the fabric, rather than the typical application of color to the fabric. This process of leaching dye from the fabric results in the tonal dots that define the look of this print.
Each Venable Moore pattern begins with a hand-painted, hand-dyed, or hand-drawn original artwork and is sustainably produced to order. Fabrics are printed on natural fibers using low-waste processes and eco-friendly inks. Designed in Los Angeles and made in the United States.
‘Staccato Decolorato’ Shibori is available as linen fabric by the yard, linen pillow covers, linen placemats, and cotton sateen tablecloths in six colorways. The standard grounds are suitable for residential and low-traffic environments. Alternate and performance grounds are available to the trade for high-use applications.
