'Staccato Sbiancato' Shibori
‘Staccato Sbiancato’ Shibori was created using Venable Moore’s specially developed Arashi Shibori method. The initial studies for this pattern were made by using bleach to strip color away from intricately bound and folded fabric, rather than the typical application of color to the fabric. This process of removing dye from the fabric created the lively spray of dots that characterizes this print.
Each Venable Moore pattern begins with a hand-painted, hand-dyed, or hand-draw original artwork and is sustainably produced to order. Fabrics are printed on natural fibers using low-waste processes and eco-friendly inks. Designed in Los Angeles and made in the United States.
‘Staccato Decolorato’ Shibori is available as 100% European linen fabric by the yard, linen pillow covers, linen placemats, and cotton sateen tablecloths in six colorways. The standard grounds are suitable for residential and low-traffic environments. Alternate and performance grounds are available to the trade for high-use applications.
