Signature Shibori Linen Fabric by the Yard
A modern reinterpretation of a time-honored Japanese fabric-dyeing tradition, this series of patterns is the result of Venable Moore’s proprietary Arashi shibori method. These four patterns represent four distinct techniques, but all began as hand-dyed studies on silk. Each print is named to reflect its movement on the fabric and is inspired by the musicality of our process - a dance between color and medium.
Each Venable Moore pattern begins with a hand-painted, hand-dyed, or hand-draw original artwork and is sustainably produced to order in the United States. Printed on 100% European linen using low-waste processes and eco-friendly inks.
These four Shibori patterns are available as linen fabric by the yard, in six colorways each. The standard grounds are suitable for residential and low-traffic environments. Alternate and performance grounds are available to the trade for high-use applications. These patterns are also offered as linen pillow covers, placemats, and tablecloths.
